If you are fighting Skirmishers, use a few Mahouts (Depending on how fast your units are training) and lots of Sowar. For Heavy infantry, use Gurkha/Urumi/Siege Elephants (you will need these once he builds artillery), plus keep a few Rajputs/Zamburacks back to fight cavalry. Against some teams you will need them more (such as a Portuguese player who builds more artillery), and sometimes less.Īlso, you should build a few Howdah once you see cavalry, and back them up with some Zamburacks and Rajputs/Sepoy (Rajputs are great for chasing down raiding cavalry, such as Oprichnicks). Also, you must remember that building Siege Elephants is an unfortunate necessity to win any game with India. There are more types of booms than this one alone, but I use this most often.įor lategame, you will want a 40:55 (8:11) food to coin ratio, and remember this: DO NOT to send your army in as a meatgrinder, because India's units train terribly slow. However, read until you get to the military cards, then stop, because the other cards are obviously irrelevant in NR40.
Here is an India Boom that I've written up, but it is regularly for NR20.
